In Icod de los Vinos, near the Dragon Tree, is the Drago Butterfly Research Center, dedicated exclusively to the study of Lepidoptera.
The center includes a garden where a variety of butterflies flutter in the wild, a laboratory for observing caterpillars and pupae, a themed auditorium and a cinema hall. In total, more than a hundred species of butterflies from Central America, Asia, and Australia have been collected here.
