The famous Silk Exchange (Spanish for "lonha") is one of the most emblematic buildings in Valencia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the finest example of Gothic civil architecture in Europe. The majestic Lonja was the commercial center of the city of the 15th century and was a vivid reflection of the prosperity and prosperity of Valencia in the Middle Ages. The Exchange building is divided into 4 parts: the Hall of Columns (or the Hall of Transactions), the Tower, the Consular Pavilion and the courtyard with the Orange Garden.
