Thanks to the high hill of Fourviere, this basilica can be seen from almost anywhere in Lyon. It is difficult to climb, so I advise you to use the funicular, but you can go down on foot, visiting the rose garden and the ancient Roman ruins of the ancient amphitheater, located nearby, at the foot of the basilica.
