To travel here, you need to set aside a whole day. We left by train from the Gare de Lyon in Paris, then you can take bus 1, but we walked to the palace. There are also organized bus tours, but we were not satisfied with this option, as we wanted to see more than shown in the tour. The ticket price is 14 euros, you can buy online and choose which excursion. We opted for a full tour of the castle, which included visits to the "small apartments" (including Napoleon's apartments) and the Chinese Museum.→
