The Duxford Imperial War Museum is the largest in England and one of the largest aviation museums in the world. Its territory is divided into thematic hangars that illustrate the development of British aviation, American aviation, are dedicated to Soviet aircraft, famous combat aircraft of other countries, civil aviation technology. Many of the exhibits of the museum are active and regularly take to the air, taking part in air shows and filming. Since 1973, traditional air shows have been held in Duxford. Since Duxford is a branch of the Imperial War Museum, in it, in the Land War Hall, visitors can get acquainted with the collection of weapons and military equipment of the ground forces of different countries from the First World War to the present day.
