Great britain, London
The British Museum is the main historical and archaeological museum of the British Empire (now Great Britain) and one of the largest museums in the world.

The British Museum was established in 1753 on the basis of three collections - the collection of the famous British physician and naturalist Hans Sloan, the collection of Earl Robert Harley, and the library of the antiquary Robert Cotton, which became the basis of the British Library. The creation of the museum was approved by an act of the British Parliament.

The scale is impressive. Heard a lot about this place, a lot. It is physically impossible to see everything in one visit, the exposition is very rich. But! Since my interests are mainly Egyptian subjects, it was this collection that I paid the most attention to. I recommend extending your acquaintance with this place over several visits, so as not to confuse the "sinful" with the "righteous". My aesthetic desires are more than satisfied, and not only do I not regret that I ended up in the British Museum, I am happy that I still managed to do it! I recommend it, it's breathtaking, you won't regret it.

The main thing you need to know about this museum is that it can be viewed for a week. I went to it three times and it's still not enough) The museum is free, crowded but wonderful. Even tourists who are not particularly fond of the museum but consider it a duty to visit this one while in England will be very surprised!

Everything that the British had plundered all over the world for centuries, they took to the British Museum. They still cannot disassemble and sort the loot - they only managed to shove it through the halls. You won't have enough life for this museum, so take a map, look...Don't panic, pull yourself together and take another look at the map. Try to pick 10-15 gyms that you can run that day. I looked at Clock, Money, Mummies and Cafe.
