Prince Albert Memorial

Albert Memorial, Monument to Prince Albert
Great britain, London
The Prince Albert Memorial is located in the southeast section of Kensington Gardens. It was opened in 1875 and is dedicated to the memory of Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, who died of typhus in 1861. The monument is made in the Neo-Gothic style: inside the 54-meter pavilion there is a gilded statue of Albert, and rich sculptural compositions are located around the perimeter of the memorial.
