We went to Georgia in August 2017. I really liked the country! Sea of impressions! We were in Tbilisi, lived in Kabuleti, walked around Batumi. If you go from Kabuleti to Batumi, then on the way you must definitely stop by the Botanical Garden. The road is not hard to find. Especially if you go by bus. The entrance to the Botanical Garden cost 8 GEL (in my opinion). The territory of the garden is huge - 13 hectares! For those who do not want to walk for half a day or the whole day, you can take a special open bus. You can hire a guide. We walked by ourselves. The park is divided into several different zones - according to the regions where certain plant species grow. Loved the bamboo gazebos and benches. Just lovely! Be sure to bring food with you to snack on during the walk. They found only one cafe there, closer to the exit to the city of Batumi, and the prices there are not Georgian at all, they are expensive (unlike this cafe, the cost of dishes in a cafe everywhere along the coast is not at all high).
There is also a beach in the park, you can swim, but we didn’t really like it . . Overgrown with grass, unkempt . . Located right next to the Green Cape railway station. There are, of course, objects that require repair. But in general we liked the park. I advise you to visit there!
