Sculpture of Ali and Nino

Statue of love, Sculpture "Man and woman"
Georgia, Batumi
The sculpture "Ali and Nino" is a composition by Tamara Kvesitadze. It was installed on the Black Sea coast in 2011. The fate of Ali and Nino is written in the book of the same name, the authorship of which is attributed to the Azerbaijani writer Kurban Said. Eight-meter statues of a man and a woman approach each other, changing their position every 10 minutes, until they become one. This sight is especially beautiful at night when the statues are illuminated.

Embankment! This is generally a separate issue...12 kilometers of bike path, the cleanest and most well-groomed hiking trail, many local interesting sights that line the coastline! One of these for me is the sculpture "Ali and Nino"! You can watch and watch these moving statues...How they either diverge in different directions, then converge again) Especially when you know the love story of these heroes, you already observe with special awe and interest!

When I saw photos of this statue before, I thought it was very tall. But when we went to see it, we couldn’t understand for a long time why the locals show us the way to it, but we don’t see it, but when we did see it, I was extremely surprised - it is only 8 meters. But very mesmerizing. And indeed, when you shoot a video or photo, it seems that it is huge.

Very interesting and touching piece of art. Must have to visit in Batumi. That's only if they placed it in a slightly different (quiet) place on the embankment, otherwise the impression is smeared with numerous cries of inviting boat trips))

I was simply amazed by this sculpture, I wanted to cry with admiration - lovers move towards each other, touch, unite in a kiss and part to bring in unity ....it’s fascinating ....I wanted to see this and I’m happy that such a work of art was created. I think the song "Eternal Love" would be suitable as a dubbing, where such beautiful words .... Eternal love we were faithful to her, but time is evil for my memory The more days, the deeper the wound in it, all the words of love in tortured hearts merged into one legend without end, like a kiss and everything drags on for a long time, I could not leave, saying goodbye forever, and God sees, hoping I wait to see again, this love of mine and I will swear again.

The Batumi monument "Ali and Nino", which is a symbol of eternal love and understanding between peoples of different nationalities, was created in 2010. The name was taken from the famous novel about two lovers. This statue of love may be the most original in the world. The seven-meter figures of a man and a woman move every 10 minutes, and moving towards each other, they become one. Very romantic!
