Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain) is a mountain in Tbilisi, part of the Trialeti Range. It is located on the right bank of the Kura River (the Georgian name of the river is Mtkvari), practically in the center of the city. Mtatsminda dominates the surrounding hills and is a kind of symbol of the capital of Georgia.

Great place for a relaxing holiday

Mount Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain): it is impossible not to visit!

Mount Mtatsminda is the second highest in Tbilisi. For whatever purpose you come to Georgia, it is impossible not to visit it, both for a child and a mature person. You can climb the mountain by car, but we always recommend our tourists to take the tram. Slowly, it will lift you up the mountain, revealing the city below like a pearl. It is from this mountain that the most magnificent view of the night capital! It is in the middle of this mountain that Griboyedov rests, and next to it is the church of David of Gareji and the pantheon of the famous Georgia.→
