The Armenian Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Gregory the Illuminator, and also houses the offices of the Armenian Archdiocese. The church is a single-nave cruciform church, with a dome and a polygonal drum. The dome is pointed-pyramidal, typical of traditional Armenian church architecture. This shape contributes to the acoustics of the space, and its openings enhance natural lighting. The central entrance has a propylon with columns and capitals with doves, and on either side of the entrance are similar false pilasters.→
