The guard of honor changes every hour. Weekends are more solemn, but we ended up on a weekday. Evzones amaze with their height of under two meters, they are dressed in national costumes, on their feet are funny and heavy, 3 kilograms each, wooden shoes with pompoms. They stand in the unbearable heat with imperturbable faces and everyone can take a picture with them, this also apparently became part of the ritual. The procedure itself lasts only a few minutes, but it's worth a look! I don’t know who came up with this, but it looks very funny - they alternately raise their legs and arms in front of each other and make some tricks with them, it looks very comical from the outside : ) We liked it so much that we came twice - in the afternoon and in the evening, when it got dark.→
