This important religious center is located near Mount Parnassus. Needless to say, an architectural monument located in such a picturesque place cannot but attract attention? For a long time this place was considered the center of the earth. There is a legend that once Zeus released two eagles from different parts of the world and they met at the foot of this mountain, at that moment a large stone fell from the mountain, which in Greek was called the "Navel of the Earth". The stone itself is carefully protected from annoying tourists.
