Epidaurus is a whole complex dedicated to Dionysus. Previously, there was not only a theater here, but also a hospital. Here they came up with the idea of ​ ​ treating with snake venom, in a word, physical exercises and proper nutrition. In the unique amphitheater, dramatic performances are still held, but not in ancient, but in modern Greek. On the sides there were columns from the gate, through which the actors used to go on stage. The theater is famous for its excellent acoustics and seats 12.000 spectators (ticket 6 Euros per visit). Of course, we take turns standing in the very middle and shouting loudly - the acoustics are amazing! Then the whole group screams in unison - and a flock of frightened birds breaks down from the trees : ) In general, this is not only an impressive building, but also a good attraction for tourists : )
