This attraction is located on the highest point of the old city. It is here that the Byzantine Fortress Walls and a large observation deck with a beautiful view of the city of Thessaloniki and the Thermeian Gulf are located. After numerous raids, the walls were restored more than once, so they have survived to this day. You can get to them by moving from the Arc de Triomphe of Emperor Galerius in the opposite direction from the sea. Inside the fortress walls there is a Byzantine fort, which served as a prison for many years.→
