The village of Neos Marmaras is located on the peninsula of Sithonia near the Itamos mountain range. The settlement was founded by refugees from the island of Marmara in 1925. The village is famous for its wines, olive oil, honey, seafood. Tourists are attracted to Neos Marmaras by the extraordinary greenery of the hills and the quiet bay, which is protected from big waves and strong winds. The village also has the largest port in the northern part of Greece - Marina Porto Carras.

From the photos it looks deceptively cozy and colorful. In fact, this is a dirty cove, overloaded with shops, pizzerias and restaurants with plastic tables. If you are seduced by photographs, then take a closer look at them.
