From the first house, Andrassy Avenue shows that there are few ordinary buildings here. The building of the Fonziere Insurance Company, which still has the inscription "Fonciere Pesti Biztos? T? Int? Zet? P? T? Se". The building was designed by Adolf Festi, and its impressive dome in 1898 was decorated with a statue of Mercury by sculptor Sz? Sz Gyula. The house was reconstructed several times, its dome was removed, and the sculpture was restored on top of the facade.

After seeing the sights of the Heroes' Square, you can go for a walk along one of the avenues of Budapest, Andrá ssy Avenue. The avenue is about 2.5 kilometers long, but don't worry, you will be happy to overcome this distance. It is impossible not to notice the influence of the French boulevards in the development of the avenue. Some palaces and mansions bear the names of their owners or architects. Embassies were located in some mansions. A sufficient number of shops and boutiques will allow you to get rid of extra forints.
