Buda Castle is the historical castle of the Hungarian kings in Budapest. In 2002, the Buda Castle, along with the ancient Aquincum and Andrássy Avenue, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Architectural monuments of the Buda Castle: The ruins of medieval castle buildings, the building of the Royal Palace, the Church of St. Matthias, the Square of the Holy Trinity with the column of the Holy Trinity, the Church of Mary Magdalene (the bell tower has been preserved), the Chapel of St. Michael, the Fisherman's Bastion, Shandor's Palace, the House of Hungarian wines.

Residence of the Hungarian kings.
For centuries, every king or ruler considered it his duty to supplement and decorate the Buda Castle to his taste. The result is a kind of mixture of styles, which, however, looks quite harmonious and has a whole crowd of tourists who regularly come here. You can get to the fortress on the Buda funicular Shiklo, and then, walking on foot, look at the artistic details on the monuments, statues and gates, go to the museum and buy souvenirs, drink wine and admire the magnificent panorama of the Danube .→

Buda guarding Pest.
On the steep bank of the Danube stands this fortress-city, which is now rightfully considered the historical center of Budapest. There are so many interesting things that one visit can only run through the main attractions, and then dream about returning and seeing it again. The carved towers of the Fisherman's Bastion are so light and airy that it's hard to believe that this is a fortification. From the observation decks, amazing views of Pest open up. Looking into the waters of the Danube, the grandiose Parliament, the Chain Bridge.→
