The Pirelli Tower rises opposite the Central Station building. The 127-meter 32-story skyscraper was built in 1960 by order of industrial magnate Alberto Pirelli. On the roof of a futuristic building is a statue of the Madonna. Today, the Pirelli Tower is one of the symbols of the city.
