Ca' d'Oro Palace is located in the city center on the banks of the Grand Canal. It was built in the first half of the 15th century in the Gothic style. The palace got its name - the Golden House - thanks to the initial decoration with gold leaf. It changed owners and was rebuilt several times. The palace also houses a rich collection of paintings.
