The temple itself is interesting to see, to notice the difference in Buddhism in different countries. The Khmer temple is not at all similar, for example, to the Thai one. It is less pompous and is fully decorated with bright and large paintings that tell about the life of the Buddha. To be honest, it feels like it's even a little empty. But what stuck in my memory here is not a temple at all. After all, the temple was built in memory of the victims of the genocide, the victims of the bloody regime of the Khmer Rouge.
