Built at the end of the 19th century, Bahia Palace is the most popular tourist attraction in Marrakesh. The interior of the palace strikes with traditional Arab luxury. Here you can see: colorful mosaics, carved wooden ceilings and doors, handmade murals, artistic interior items and paintings. Courtyards with fountains and numerous rooms with secret passages are located around the palace complex in a bizarre sequence, resembling a real labyrinth. The palace was attacked and robbed several times, so most of its original interiors have not survived to this day.
