Temple of Tal-Qadi

Megalithic Temple of Tal Qadi, Tal-Qadi
Malta, Aura
Tal Kadi, Malt. Tal-Qadi is a megalithic temple in the northeast of the island. Malta. It is located on a plain near the Gulf of Salina. As a result of excavations in 1927, a temple was discovered with an apse plan, traditional for the megalithic temples of Malta. The temple is poorly preserved. Refers to the Tarxien phase (about 2700 BC). After the decline of the megalithic civilization of Malta, when the temple was abandoned, it was used as a cremation site during the Tarxien necropolis period (2500-1500 BC).
