Chang Si Shu Yen Temple

Chan See Shu Yuen, Clan Chen's Study Hall
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Built in 1906, Chan Si Shu Yen Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Malaysia, located in Chinatown. The terracotta borders of the building are decorated with scenes from Chinese history and mythology. The roof of the temple is made in the ancient Chinese architectural style Kwang-Tung. A special influx of believers, flocking here from all over the country, is observed on the days of sacred Buddhist holidays.
