The Museum of the History of Amsterdam from the 13th century to the present day is an impressive architectural complex. The exposition of the museum is located in numerous halls of the three-story building in chronological order. Includes: works by Dutch masters of painting from different eras, household items, antique gizmos, old costumes, as well as exciting interactive installations. The museum exposition includes "Gallery of the Civil Guard", located in the alley between Begeinhof and the street « Kalverstraat".
