However, if you want to see them closer, see how they work, go inside and see how ancient mechanisms, without any electronics, do the same work that they did a few hundred years ago, then you need to go to the Zaanse Schans . The Zaanse Schans is an open-air museum. Samples of Dutch windmills, characteristic buildings are collected here, as well as the main crafts - a functioning cheese factory, the manufacture of klomps - traditional Dutch wooden shoes and, in my opinion, the most interesting, working mills.→
