Norway, Alesund
The Geirangerfjord is a small Norwegian fjord about 15 kilometers long, which is an offshoot of the Storfjord. Along the banks of the fjord there are high sheer cliffs, and inside there are abandoned farms. Geirangerfjord is known for its waterfalls with the names "Seven Sisters", "Bridal Veil" and "Groom". In 2005, the Geirangerfjord was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Impressions are the best!! ! We entered the Geiranger Fjord on a ship early in the morning. In the afternoon we walked around the village - we liked it very much! It was May and in this northern country everything was blooming at the same time: rhododendrons, sweet cherries, cherries, bird cherry, sakura, clematis...Stunning views. Like melting glaciers. And the waterfalls were strong; -) I liked it very much!

In such places you feel the greatness of nature and all your own insignificance before the world. I want to live to the fullest after visiting. I know that Norway is an expensive country, but everyone must visit it at least once in their life. Amazing Norwegians live in harmony with nature, do not subordinate it to themselves, but rationally and effectively use its advantages and possibilities. I love such natural sights more than any cathedrals and creations of human hands. A lot of impressions guaranteed!.

Were with a bus expedition, nayamalyalis, horror. All the same, 40 people on the bus is not comfort. But the sight of Geiranger was simply amazing! First we arrived at the platform of the Eagles' Road, where from a height of 600m we froze from the beauty of the waterfalls. Then we went down the twisting serpentine to Geiranger itself, and from there we climbed the opposite wall - 800 m to the Flidalsjuvet gorge. There they even built a throne for the Queen of Norway, so that she would come and sit to admire.

Fjords ...It took my breath away from the age-old peace of these creatures of nature, the emerald color of the water and the difference in its levels during high tide and low tide. The waterfalls have always been impressive: the "Bridegroom" with a bottle in Geiranger Fjord, the loud and rainbow Veringsfos and others along the way.

One of the most magnificent fjords in Norway, with traditional waterfalls (including the Seven Sisters), high mountains and pretty villages along the banks. In some places there is even an inexplicable bright turquoise color of the water, which adds charm. It is best to enjoy the views from the Geiranger - Valldalen ferry (300-400 CZK for 4 hours round trip from any point).
