The construction of the church was carried out in 2 stages: in 1907-1910 according to the design of Tadeusz Stryż enski and in 1929-1932 according to the design of Franciszek Monczynski. Brick building with stone details, polygonal stone foundation. Trina basilica with a two-part presbytery. A sculpture of the Mother of God is installed in the courtyard. On the facade of the church above the main entrance is a mosaic depicting the Mother of God. Made in 1934 by Jan Bukowski. The fence of the church was designed by Franciszek Monczynski.

A memorial plaque was erected on the facade of the church in 1963. On the board - bas-reliefs of St. brother Albert (Adam Khmelovsky) and father Rafal Kalinowski - participants in the January Uprising of 1863-1864. The board was made at the expense of the Cracow clergy according to the project of the sculptor Jó zef Jury.
