It was created at the end of the nineteenth century in the then fashionable landscape style. Fenced and closed at night, it is now one of the most carefully maintained parks in Warsaw. Founded in 1893-1896 according to the designs of the Warsaw city gardener Franciszek Szanio, it covers an area of .5 hectares. The park is characterized by beautiful, diverse trees. The pond was created according to the design of William Heerlein Lindley with water flowing over granite boulders and artificially formed rapids.
