Gubalovka is one of the popular places for skiing and recreation in Poland. The peak with a height of 1123 m is part of the Gubalovsky mountain range.

A cable-railway was laid to Gubałówka. In a comfortable carriage with a glazed roof, you can enjoy the panorama of the most beautiful part of the Tatras without interference. Another attraction of Gubałówka is Poland's first serpentine track for gravity descent in special trolleys with a speed of up to 23 km/h, as well as a children's playground.

Used to ski here...
I decided to take my family to Gubalovka in order to diversify the experience. Upon arrival - a shock - the main and only track does NOT work - there is no snow, and this year, it seems, there was not. What to do - we went up just to look ...From above, along the top of the ridge there is a road, along it there are tourist things - souvenirs, bars, cafes, etc. Of the declared 6 lifts, five are ski lifts, very short, with artificial snow (more precisely, ice) . Sat with mulled wine on the terrace with gorgeous views of the mountains.→

Drink beer and admire the panorama of the mountains
Despite the presence of the funicular, I climbed the mountain on foot (I have such a craving). Luckily, the weather was conducive to hiking. It was early October, sunny and windless. It took me 45-50 minutes to get up. Along the way, I assessed the steepness of the descent - red with a transition in some places to black! Not bad at all! But my amazement knew no bounds when I found out that they don’t ride from this mountain! Why is unclear! It seems that everything is here for this? A beautiful panorama opens up at the top (it's a pity that without snow).→
