Immediately after the New Year holidays, we made a short car trip. One of the places on our route was the ski resort of Zakopane, located in the High Tatras, on the border of Poland and Slovakia. Since we don't ride at all, we stopped in Zakopane purely out of curiosity. And given that I really love different landscapes, of course, we took the lift to the top of the mountain. There are a lot of ski slopes in Zakopane. There are trails for beginners, short and with a slight difference in elevation. There are more complex ones. We observed very young skiers who were moved from place to place by experienced instructors. That is, this is a resort where everyone will have something to do. Prices for inventory are not high, payment is hourly. For example, snowboarding for about 3 hours costs about 26 PLN. Lift for an hour PLN 25, for two PLN 45, for four PLN 75.
The infrastructure is developed - cafes, rental points, toilets, everything is enough. In general, I liked the resort, and of course the landscape from the mountain did not disappoint : )
