I must say right away that in fact this castle has nothing to do with Dracula. One of its last owners was the Romanian Queen Maria, and therefore the exposition in the castle is dedicated to her. However, in one of the rooms of Bran Castle (the same one where the Hollywood movie was filmed), "royal clothes" (c), that is, the fake armor of Vlad Tepes (Dracula), are displayed in a glass showcase. The decoration of the castle is quite modest, it looks more impressive from the outside than from the inside. But I don't regret taking the tour. In front of the entrance to the castle there is a souvenir market where, among other things, you can buy tsuyka (fruit vodka) and home-made black cheese. Recommend! : )
Bran Castle is open on Monday from 12.00 to 18.00, Tuesday-Saturday from 9.00 to 18.00. The ticket price is about 6 euros.
