In this cathedral, weddings and baptisms of members of the royal family were performed. Has two entrances. Central and across the carved porch. There is a legend that this porch was built specifically for Ivan the Terrible, when, after his fourth marriage, he was deprived of the right to be in the temple. From this porch he listened to sermons, and also - from this porch they distributed alms. Inside the temple there is a grandiose five-tiered iconostasis of Theophanes the Greek, the floor of the temple is made of silicon interspersed with agate and jasper.
