Oddly enough, but quite easily this can be done in a completely non-naval Moscow. There is a museum of the Russian Navy in Northern Tushino. Someone, of course, knows about it, and has even been there, someone knows, but has not yet reached it, but, for sure, there will be those who have not heard of this.

The museum complex consists of the boat itself, the exhibition pavilion, the Eaglet marine ekranoplan and the SKAT hovercraft. You can only admire the last two exhibits, but it becomes sad if you paint them up. And the boat looks very cheerful.
While I was studying the introductory information at the entrance to the pavilion, my husband is already whispering to me: “They give tickets for free somewhere here. ” Come on ...We go in, and we are solemnly handed free tickets, we are lucky! It turns out that every third Sunday of the month visiting both the boat and the exhibition is free, only there are no excursions on these days. Groups are organized as usual at 15:00 and 17:00.
Inside, of course, cool! Excuse me, I will not list all the compartments, devices, etc. I can say that it is very captivating!
You look at all this content - how, well, how can you figure it all out, not confuse it ...And how you spent months in this closed space ...Everything is real, and the ventilation system that is working now is the same itself. As the curator of the museum put it, only real smells are missing - the carriage and the latrine. Well, except for mannequins, of course, which, in my opinion, somewhat do not fit with the theme, and what to do, they probably don’t release “brutal” ones. Well, it's not a criticism...
The most popular exhibits are a latrine and canned dried roach.
They linger for a long time, including me, near a small copy of the boat. More little men there : ))
Of course, everything has been redone for ease of inspection. But you can also experience for yourself what it is like to crawl between the compartments, for this the hatch between the sixth and seventh compartments was given to be torn to pieces, at the end of the inspection.
With a tour, of course, more interesting.
Although it is quite informative without it, you just need to take your time and read all the signs. During the inspection, we noticed people listening to the audio guide. So-so-so ...We missed something. After inspecting the boat, we asked at the box office, and they showed us - here, act according to the instructions - and there is a memo on downloading the izi application. TRAVEL. Cool stuff, let me tell you. At home then I poked a little, it may well come in handy. In general, I follow the principle of "learned - pass it on to another. " Maybe someone, like me, does not yet know about the izi application. TRAVEL))
There is also an exhibition pavilion in the complex, which tells about the evolution of the submarine fleet, starting from the “Secret Ship” of the times of Peter I and to the present day, and models of submarines are presented. On the second floor there is a hall dedicated to famous naval commanders.
A little about the number of visitors: despite the day off and free of charge (although most, like us, learned about it already at the entrance), it cannot be said that there are straight crowds. Yes, the boat was not empty, but there was no crazy traffic either. The influx of curious people is undulating, apparently by companies and families who came to the park, but here at the same time. Most (not all, of course) go through without really delving into it, and even more so, without reading, in no case, not a reproach, not all of them are such kopush and letter-eaters like us - we spent an hour and a half in the boat : )))
Well, I highly recommend it for boys and girls of all ages )) Especially in summer, when you can combine an informative excursion with a pleasant walk through a fairly large park. There is no fresh data on the park, but a couple of years ago there were squirrels, playgrounds, extortionate carousels too.
