Arbat is a street in the Central Administrative District of Moscow. Passes from Arbat Gate Square to Smolenskaya Square, lies between Prechistenka Street and Novy Arbat Street. From the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, manor houses of the nobility dominated here, and from the second half of the 19th century, the Moscow intelligentsia concentrated.

The Arbat entered the history of Moscow so much that we mention it in a huge number of literary works, memoirs, many writers, poets and novelists lived and wrote about it on the Arbat, sang and populated it with their literary characters.

By now, the street has become one of the popular places among foreign tourists. Following the example of American Hollywood, a Russian “avenue of stars” has been set up on the Arbat.

wonderful place

Wow, I'm impressed with this place. It's just some kind of eternal holiday) The music is playing, it's impossible not to stop in front of the next artist. Everyone smiles and cheers up.→

Last thing to visit.

Thirty years ago Arbat was the most Moscow street. His singer was Okudzhava. He was mentioned in his works by poets and writers. But in 1986 it became a pedestrian zone and in the process of restructuring it completely lost its face and charm. At present, some Gazgoldernaya street will tell much more about Moscow and Muscovites than the "lighted" Arbat. Nevertheless, if you are going to visit this attraction, then, among the attractions that you can learn about from the Internet, some of them should be specially noted.→
