The Yasenevo estate is located on the territory of the Bitsevsky park. It was built in the 17th century. and was considered for a long time a rich noble estate with a large park and flower beds. For a long time the estate belonged to the princes Lopukhin and Gagarin, who expanded it, rebuilt and decorated it to their taste according to the then fashion trends. After the revolution, this estate was plundered and fell into disrepair. At the end of the twentieth century. Attempts were made to restore the estate, but now it is empty. The main manor house is closed to the public, but you can go to the church of Peter and Paul, located nearby, or take a walk along the preserved part of the manor park with linden alleys and several ponds.

Pleasantly neglected now the estate of the princes of the Lopukhins and Gagarins, the patrimony of Ivan IV the Terrible, Boris Godunov and Peter I. Apostles Peter and Paul (1750). A small regular park formed by avenue plantings of majestic lindens and oaks, with surviving fragments of cascading ponds, is certainly one of the first arranged manor yards in Russia. A life-giving source and a gathering place for Peter's "amusing regiments". ...a quiet and peaceful place for walks and unhurried reflections.→
