Having skated for several days on Cheget, we decided to have a rest day and take an excursion. At the cable car station, they saw an ad, the author of which promised an excursion program, which included, among other things, a visit to the Chegem waterfalls. The tour turned out to be very eventful. Our driver, who is also a guide, while we were driving, talked a lot and interestingly about local sights, customs and traditions. The waterfalls are located in Chegemsky, adjacent to ours, the Baksan Gorge. It was minus fifteen and the falls were huge icicles. It was dark in the gorge and very quiet. Apart from us, there were no other tourists. But, nevertheless, several women traded in knitted socks and something else. And there was a cafe, with absolutely ridiculous prices and a very colorful interior, where we had lunch and warmed up. I would like to visit here in the summer, but alas! The way there is now booked for us. : (((
