10 km from the regional center in the village of Saburovo is, perhaps, one of the unusual and little-known sights of the Orel region. This is the so-called Saburovskaya fortress. This amazing building was founded in the 18th century, which was the estate of the noble Kamensky family. Mikhail Kamensky, the hero of the Russian-Turkish war, field marshal, stylized his estate as a fortress as a monument to the victories of Russian weapons in the Russian-Turkish wars.
