The Garden-Museum "Tree of Friendship" is located in the center of Sochi and was founded in 1981. The main exhibit of the museum is the Tree of Friendship - a wild lemon, in the crown of which about 45 varieties of citrus fruits from around the world were grafted. In 1940, in memory of visiting the tree, the famous polar explorer O. Yu. Schmidt vaccinated. Now branches are developing on the Tree of Friendship, which were grafted by envoys from 167 countries of the world, including heads of state, public and political figures, scientists and representatives of culture.

Together with the Tree of Friendship, 76 more young trees grow in the garden, brought from the USA, Poland, Japan and other countries. Here you can find a huge number of gifts brought to the Tree of Friendship: national souvenirs, letters, photographs, relics, musical instruments and much more.

You can take a look

To say that there is something to look at and something to be impressed with is not, but the story of the main, oldest tree of friendship is very amazing, and I was also struck by the subtle indescribable aroma that is in the air here.→
