Riddarholmen Church is a church located on the island of Riddarholmen, next to the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The only surviving medieval monastery church in Stockholm. Tomb of the Swedish monarchs. The tradition of burying monarchs at Riddarholmen continued until 1950.
The church is one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm, parts of which date back to the end of the 13th century, when the church was built as the main building of the Franciscan monastery.
