Sergelstorg is a square in the center of Stockholm, named after the architect Johan Tobias Sergel.

The area is stretched from west to east and consists of three parts. In the center of the square rises a 38-meter glass column by the sculptor Edwin Erström Crystal.

Sergelstorg is the most popular city place for meeting friends, lovers, holding political gatherings, various festivals and folk festivals. The people called the glass column in the center of the square "Pointer", and local architects joke about it that the project could not stand the meeting with reality, since eternal technical problems became constant companions of "Crystal".
