Beautiful (and, most importantly, free) views of Stockholm open from the area of historical buildings of the city - Fjä llgatan Street (Fj? llgatan). The wooden houses that crowd on it were built in the 18th century, after another fire. And a little earlier, back in the 16-17 centuries, the street bore the frightening name "Gallows Street", because it was here that public executions were held by hanging.
