The Singapore Zoo occupies 28 hectares in the forested central part of Singapore. The zoo was opened on June 27, 1973. It operates under the management of Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The zoo has about 315 animal species, 16% of which are endangered. The zoo receives about 1.6 million visitors each year.

The zoo is built on the basis of an open concept - the absence of visible barriers between animals and people, which allows you to 100% feel the closeness of communication with the animal world, observe habits in conditions as close as possible to natural ones in their habitat.

In RIVER SAFARI, in comparison with the previous one, the Wild Amazonia zone has opened after renovation and it is beautiful! Quiet river and lake area in addition to just animals. I also do not remember that there were previously huge aquariums with manatees and other large individuals. It's great too. They also host shows with mermaids. I got to the end of the show. Ride on Amazon River Qest (fee separately) - fine. The idea is to sail on a boat along the river and see animals in their habitat.→

Four objects at once - ZOO, RIVER SAFARI, NIGHT SAFARI, JURONG BIRD PARK are united by a common owner and have a lot in common (for example, the ability to buy one ticket for everything and save a little in this way). ZOO and JURONG BIRD PARK remain in my memory as beautiful landscape parks, not only depicting the jungle, but also very densely populated with tropical animals. All the inhabitants have a beautiful and well-fed appearance))). The peculiarity of these parks is that the number of cages is minimized - everything is like in nature, the means of protection from animals are passive (moats with water, for example), or you look through the glass.→
