Since the country itself is located on a mountain, any stop along the narrow, winding road up can be considered a lookout. This is not surprising, because almost from the sidewalk along the creeping road, the views are one better than the other. A good view is also from the castles, but there is an entrance fee and at a certain time. The price for visiting the two towers is 3 euros, I think you can afford it.
If you are by car, you can use the parking (about 4 euros / 3 hours).
I advise you to definitely take the funicular up - this will save both time and effort, will allow you to enjoy the beauties in motion, well, it's a lot of fun.
On the sites there are observation pipes for 1 euro. We really got carried away, looking at the surroundings, the sea in the distance and small, beautiful houses. The weather allowed - the day was very clear. The towers inside are museums - a variety of weapons, including firearms, protective pads, helmets, etc.
There are always plenty of people on the observation deck. Everyone takes pictures, admires the beautiful views, breathes in the mountain air.
I am sure it is worth allocating one day to visit this small state, admire its fabulousness and landscapes.
