I was in this place in January 2015. The river overflowed like a child. Everything was flooded - small cafes, shops and part of the embankment with a platform, from which, as I understand it, everyone takes pictures of this waterfall. The place is rural. In winter, there is almost no one. There is no special super beauty there. An ordinary river, with milky green water, the waterfall is not large in height. Soupen across the river is wide. Nature is like nature. Near the fenced area for local residents for picnics. Approximately 10 tables with brick stoves to make barbecue. All is clear. We were witnesses as a local family - in the afternoon, at 12 o'clock, they came with a bowl of vegetables, a bowl of meat, a tablecloth and unpretentious utensils to the river bank and began to set the table and cook food. Children ran along the river bank. Everything is very clean and cultural, although I repeat, the surroundings are ordinary countryside, with a gas station, some warehouses, sheds and a wasteland.
I asked my Turkish friend - is this an ordinary leisure and so pleasant? He said, yes, families from nearby houses come here on foot to have a picnic. Other Turks come by car from Manavgat. In winter, there seems to be no entrance fee to the territory of this lawn, in the season, they probably take it. The guard's booth and garbage cans are all there. This is what I remember. May is coming soon, and the barbecue season will begin. I have not seen such well-equipped lawns with barbecues in Moscow and the Moscow region on the banks of water bodies or in the forest zone ...it would be good to adopt such an experience. We have a number of a la open-airs with gazebos and barbecues - so renting a gazebo and barbecue costs a lot of money, and everyone just wants to go out into nature for free on the first May sun - but there are no conditions, garbage and bottles then around.
