The Safari Park on the Arabat Spit was founded by Alexei Getta in 2010. At first, it was a zoo corner on the territory of a boarding house not far from the hot spring in Schastlivtsevo. Now the safari park occupies a separate fenced area of 4 hectares. The peculiarity of this petting zoo is that some animals can be touched and fed. Bears, wolves and foxes, monkeys, camels and llamas, donkeys, raccoons and silver foxes, kangaroos, porcupines, rabbits and squirrels, ostriches and pelicans live here. In 2014, the rare black-maned Berber lions appeared in the zoo. In 2015, a Safari bar was opened on the territory of the park, offering dishes from ostrich meat. In the future, a landscape park with ponds, fountains, and attractions will be created on the territory of the zoo.
