Landscape park in Buki village

Landscape Park Buki
Ukraine, buki
The landscape park in the village of Buki was founded in 1996 on the banks of the Rostavitsa River on the initiative of entrepreneur Ivan Suslov. The area of the park complex is 2.7 hectares, for its construction the river bed was cleared and the dam was restored. On the territory of the park you can see a residential manor house with a family chapel, a hunting lodge, a mini-zoo, a glade of fairy tales with magical characters. The landscape is dominated by lush flower beds, openwork bridges, gazebos and sculptures. On the right bank of the river is the Temple complex, which includes the Cathedral of St. Eugene and the chapel of St. Alexander and Nicholas.

It was a warm day and decided to visit this place with the whole family. The road from Kyiv by car took a little over 2 hours. The quality of the road to Bila Tserkva is excellent, then C grade. I liked the place itself. On one side of the river there is a church, steles-monument: Holodomor-WWII-Afghanistan-Chernobyl, a fountain that once stood on the Maidan in Kyiv, then a descent to the river, a stylized Stonehenge, several created waterfalls and bridges with an island. Throughout the territory there are figurines, both from cartoons and of a religious nature.

And here you are - a successful businessman, you want to surround yourself with beauty and luxury items, but you do not want to become the second Yanukovych. What shall I do? Suslov Ivan Nikolaevich solves this question with the refinement inherent in all reasonable people. Suslov Ivan Nikolaevich becomes a patron. On the site of the old landfill, a landscape park is being built, within which the estate of the Suslovs, the Temple Complex, a mini-zoo, the Peoples' Friendship Fountain (yes, the same one that was dismantled on Independence Square), as well as gazebos, bridges, sculptures, plants in perfect condition.

Complete lack of style and taste. Made on the principle of expensive-boHato. There is not the slightest architectural layout, everything is piled up in a heap. Here you have temples, here you have toads. At first I experienced a slight shock, then I decided to treat everything I saw with humor. In the end, such places are needed, for those who are too fed up with the beauties of Sofiyivka or Alexandria.
