On our way home from the sea, we specially laid out our route in such a way as to call in the largest desert in Ukraine, and the second largest desert in Europe. It was not difficult to find it, but the clay road that led to the observation deck 3 kilometers from the village of Proletarka (now Chelburda) was searched for about 15 minutes, because there were no signs and pointers on the road at all. When we got to the desert, we found that the sand there is very similar to the sand of the Sahara desert in Africa. Same dark yellow. In fact, this desert is considered a semi-desert due to the amount of precipitation and vegetation in it. By the way, all the pine trees planted around the desert (and it is not small) are planted artificially, and this is the largest artificial plantation in Ukraine. In general, we suggest you watch our video review of the desert, and if possible, stop by and see everything with your own eyes. Enjoy watching! )))
