The Church of the Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God in Khmilnik is located in the southwestern part of the city, on the right bank of the Southern Bug River. The temple was built of wood in 1720, in 1831-39 it was rebuilt in stone, in the Russian-Byzantine style. Two-domed, with a tent completion, ending in small onion domes with crosses, both entrances to the church are decorated with porticos with two columns.
