The Resurrection Cathedral is located in the city center near the Ivano-Frankivsk City Hall. It was built in 1763 in the German baroque style with elements of classicism. The interior attracts attention with a huge five-tiered iconostasis, as well as beautiful wall paintings. In 1990, the cathedral was returned to the Greek Catholic community of the city.
